Well its true that racists are everywhere and in every culture and race but one simply can’t expect races that has suffering bitter violent racism at the hands of a particular race simply forget the 400 year of brutal colonial and racial oppression and move on. I accept that what happened hundreds of years ago has nothing to do with current generation but at the end of the day we are all humans and humans don’t live by reason and rationality and to some wounds still linger. Its said foes die but feuds live far longer.
But no one can deny that 400 years of colonization did has direct impact on modern world. Racism, fanaticism and most importantly Economic disparity are some of the major results. Just like the blacks of SA were denied land and economic reforms even after the end of apartheid by saying ‘we won’t follow policy of vengeance against the whites’. And hence most of them yet live in poverty as they lived before 1994 and no wonder y a third of S African free borns boycotted the 2014 general assembly election held to mark 20 yrs of S African democracy
The problem lies in Economic classes. Class knows no Caste or race. People living peacefully in imperialist nations will always find such statements vague, worthless or ever ridiculous as they live in an economy watered by the blood of colonial slaves. Hence their proletariat classes already enjoy the status of petty bourgeois. They don’t don’t need to worry about racism or fascism or Nazism as slaves are labouring in Latin america, Asia and Africa for their prosperity.
