It’s nowhere written in stone that poverty will make you generous or suffering will make you kind.
Just remember that the Holocaust didn’t prevent it’s survivors from establishing one of the most brutal military occupations in human history because Auschwitz was a concentration camp not some department of humanities of Delhi University where people went to receive education.
Similarly the war in middle East can’t be used to undermine the exponential spread of IslamoFascism and wahabism among the Muslim world that has reduced the Muslim population to merely a religious group and has bred a generation of fanatically fundamentalist, misogynistic and bigoted individuals having deep contempt towards the ideals of democracy, liberalism and western civilisation.
It’s still not late to know the difference between pro Muslim and pro Islam or between minority appraisal and appeasing the fundamentalists of minority.
It’s easy to be a Hindu and criticise Islam.
It’s easy to be an Indian and talk about Baluchistan.
It’s easy to be an American and bash Israel.
It’s easy to be a man and criticise Feminism.
It’s easy to be a communist and criticise capitalism.
It’s difficult to be a Hindu and criticise Hinduism.
It’s difficult to be a Muslim and criticise Islam.
It’s difficult to be an Indian and talk about Kashmir.
It’s difficult to be a Pakistani and talk about Baluchistan.
It’s difficult to be an American and criticise Americanism.
It’s difficult to be a man and criticise patriarchy.
It’s difficult to be a communist and criticise the left.
The thing about constructive criticism is that it has to come from inside of the system to have a positive impact or else it is often dismissed as allegations and hate speech.
De Omnibus Dubitandum!
We’re living in a neoliberal world where one can’t get proper education in govt schools or treatment in govt hospitals, in fact every govt facility is viewed with disgust and suspicion. From education to health to public transportation to job market we all can witness an increasing withdrawal of State.
If we have to pay the private players for everything that a welfare state promises to do for its citizens why are we asked to pay taxes to the state in the first place? To buy bombs and bullets that are being used against its own masses??
This state hegemony is an interesting phemenon, on one hand it believes in gradual withdrawal of its influence from all spheres of a citizen’s welfare while on the other hand it demands from its citizens a complete physical and psychological surrender towards its rule.
It’s the masses under the state subjugation that are forced to grow food, join army, fight wars, pay taxes and keep the machinery running and the same masses are asked to prove their loyalty from time to time.
This is done by maintain the delusion that state is feeding and protecting the masses not the other way round. The same state that is being run by the Bourgeois class that is buying colonies in poor countries and political class whose children are settled abroad.
In the second world war 3 million died in the great Bengal famine but today each year more than 3 million are starved to death in other words we are having a Bengal holocaust every year. We live in a nation where 70℅ people live on less than $2 a day and the state expects these people can afford expensive educational and medical facilities of the private sectors. The Indian state is just replicating the American model undermining the fact that India is still a third world nation.
After all this the state expects us to remain loyal to a bunch of oligarchs and fund our own oppression. State is nothing but the coldest of all cold monsters, everything it says is a lie and everything it has is stolen.
Let the Bourgeois class bear the burden of nationalist pride, life is already a war for the commoners.
In a nation of 1.25 billion it has now become not only acceptable but also sth to be celebrated that the richest Indian now owns almost 20% of the the national assets.
We can notice a whole new breed of middle class emerging that is not only indifferent towards the poor and spiteful towards it’s own class but also has a God like admiration towards their rulers or the rich.
Everyone nowadays will tell you that those bourgeoisie somehow deserve their fair. Did Vija Mallya deserved his?
From where is this apathy and acceptance of inequality creeping in our society? Well, it’s coming from the caste system of India that legitimizes inequality, the class system of Europe that romanticizes it and the idea of American dream that claims handwork is the mantra for success which actually means that those who didn’t succeed weren’t working hard enough.
In a neoliberal world where ancestral wealth is still the largest source of financial capital, the only guarantee to inequality, and ‘deserving’ privileges is choosing the right parents at the time of birth.
Birth is the only and biggest lottery but it’s certainly not a qualification to be celebrated!
It took the collective effort of both black and white folks to abolish slavery in US or apartheid in South Africa so here in India the whole idea of excluding the privileged castes from the unity of oppressed movement sounds a bit absurd as this idea itself appears casteist.
Yes I agree with the idea of BAPSA that we need more leaders coming out from the oppressed sections and that the communist movement in India has been hijacked by the reactionary Brahmanist forces. But how can one have monopoly over Ambedkar and Phule only on the basis of caste?
Because it’s also true that many former dalit leaders are now standing with the Brahmanist fascists of RSS-BJP and one can’t deny the fact that more dalits and indigenous people have died fighting under the red banner than under the blue banner.
Left Ambedkarite Feminism is the need of the hour to combat the rising threat of Communal Fascism in India!

Then sorry to say you’re no nationalist but a sadistic coward
who enjoys seeing death and destruction from a safe distance
And I will never be a party to this mass maniac hysteria!
Ever since this far right Hindutva fascist govt came to power in 2014 who ate what became a bigger question that who ate how much!!
Last year the father of an air force employee was brutally lynched by a saffron terror faction over the suspicion of having consumed beef!
What’s interesting is that instead of showing any interest to nab those fanatics the state machinery showed more enthusiasm about knowing the nature of meat stored in the fridge of the victim.
It’s hilarious that it took them almost a year to find out what kind of meat was stored in the fridge which not only reveals the impotency of Indian police and judicial system but also throws some light on why it takes 20 years to get justice in India!
Anyways, the apologists of Hinduta fascism will tell you these are rarest of the rare events carried out by “fringe elements.”
But what’s really scary and the matter of biggest concern is the fact that these are not fringe elements and its proof is all around us. When senior leaders of this fascist Govt openly call for a final battle against minorities by swearing to carry out such attacks all across the nation, when union ministers in the govt show open support for these savages and when politician turned saints make appeals for a Muslim free India and starting a civil war it would be foolish to assume such terror strikes are random events carried out by fringe elements!
All this simply indicates that these fanatics who carry out lynching, murders and rapes in the name of cow and the degraded Indian culture aren’t goons or fringe elements but storm troopers of the fascists in power or rather state sponsored Saffron terrorists!!
After all when a saffron terror faction openly threatens the police and state with riots and mass murders in the city if no legal action is taken against the victim’s family and those fanatics sitting in the center shamelessly say that the victim won’t have had consumed the beef alone simply shows to what extent this fascist govt supports it’s sponsored terrorists!
Frankly speaking I have never seen such kind of insane polarization in my entire life. Everyone acts insane or seems to have abandoned all reasons! Never before fascism revealed itself so shamelessly and so blatantly.
Gandhi once said I’d never kill a cow for a man just like I’d not kill a man for a cow! It’s clearly the fight between Hind Swaraj of Gandhi and Hindutva of the British stooge Savarkar. It’s a fight between those who know how to think and those who know how to hate. And its battleground will be schools, colleges, Universities and our very mind.
The choices we make today will decide the future of this country. We can either become a welfare state like any advanced nation or we can become Hindu Talibans. We can either take a giant leap towards a better world of Tagore’s poems or we can go back to the dark ages of theocracy and feudalism.
All depends on what we chose to think today!
